RESERVATION POLICY 2008: All blanks on the reservation form must have an entry before the form can be e-mailed. Your reservation will automatically be sent to SCYA's Port Captain, who will acknowledge receipt.
Dinner reservation cards WILL NOT be included in general meeting invitation packages unless the Service Center is requested to do so. Reservations returned via standard mail will not be acknowledged by return mail.
Please do not call the Service Center for reservations. The Service Center CAN NOT take reservations for regular general meetings.
Both the reservation card and invitation flyer include a reservation deadline, typically the Tuesday prior to a Saturday meeting. Late reservations and walk-ins will each be charged an additional $5.00 if the host club is able to accommodate them.
All "no-shows" will be billed as follows: the first invoice is mailed directly to the no-show. Thirty days later, if the invoice remains unpaid, a second invoice is sent to the no-shows yacht club. No-shows are also charged an additional $5.00. SCYA will also attempt to collect from yacht clubs for any invalid checks, including any and all bank fees, and a suitable SCYA administrative fee.
